  • Internship Value: $6,000 ($2,000 received monthly)

Brief Description of the Korean Education Centre

The Korean Education Centre in Canada has been established by the government of the Republic of Korea as an organization dedicated to educating Korean-Canadians about the Korean language and culture to maintain and increase their pride in their Korean heritage.

To achieve this, the Korean Education Centre is supporting Korean Language Schools in Ontario and Manitoba; moreover, we have been providing many opportunities for Korean-Canadians and other Canadians to study in Korea. In addition, the Education Centre promotes exchanges and cooperation between Korean and Canadian educational institutions.

Internship Responsibilities

  • Promoting study abroad in Korea programs
  • Promoting Korean language classes
  • Assisting administrative work

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Advanced-level proficiency in conversational Korean is required
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in written Korean is preferred
  • Good communications skills
  • Familiar with LinkedIn, Facebook, Mailchimp, WordPress and social media
  • Strong capabilities in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Superior project and time management skills
  • Analytical, detailed, creative, and independent
  • Be legally able to work in Ontario

This application is open to undergraduate students at York University.

  • Enrolled full-time or part-time in the winter term 2021.
